Verdict: Yesglasses is a budget online glasses store whose main selling point is what’s included in the base price: frames start at $29, and every frame comes with free 1.61 high-index lenses plus anti-scratch and anti-reflective coatings – upgrades that cost extra at many competitors. Shipping is free in the US. The trade-offs: a 30-day refund window (shorter than GlassesUSA’s 60 days), no direct insurance billing, and progressive lens prices you only see on product pages.

Why the included lenses matter

Most online stores quote a low frame price and then charge for thinner lenses and coatings. Yesglasses says its 1.61 high-index lenses are “FREE with all Yesglasses frames,” and anti-scratch and anti-reflective coatings are included too. High-index lenses are thinner and lighter, which matters most if your prescription is moderate to strong. If you’d otherwise add these upgrades elsewhere, Yesglasses’ total can come out lower even when the frame price is similar.

Progressive, photochromic and higher-index (1.67, 1.74) options are available but not priced on the lens guide – check the total on the product page before ordering.

The fine print

  • 30-day refund window. Request a refund within 30 days of delivery. Yesglasses emails a USPS return label; express and international shipping fees aren’t refunded.
  • One replacement per pair. After you take a replacement, that pair can’t be refunded or replaced again – choose carefully.
  • Warranty covers defects only. The 12-month quality warranty excludes accidental damage and prescription changes.
  • Promotions change often. At the time of checking, the site was running a buy-one-get-one offer. Compare the final checkout total, not the headline.
  • Insurance: Yesglasses doesn’t bill vision plans directly; you pay and then submit its itemized invoice to your insurer. If you want insurance applied at checkout, see Glasses.com or LensCrafters.

Who it’s for

Good fit: budget shoppers with moderate-to-strong single-vision prescriptions who want thinner lenses without paying extra, and anyone buying a spare pair.

Consider an alternative if: you want a longer return window (GlassesUSA gives 60 days – see Is GlassesUSA Legit?), the lowest possible frame price (EyeBuyDirect starts at $6), or in-network insurance billing.
